What it takes to become a Real Estate Agent by State

Marionberry Marketing is partnering with OnCourse Learning Real Estate to offer online real estate courses.

Every state has its own individual requirements to becoming a real estate agent. If you’re interested in becoming a real estate agent you need to know the number of hours it will take you as well as the costs associated with that. The amount of hours a state requires to become a real estate agent varies from 30-200 hours. After you pass your schooling you will have to take a state and possibly a national exam. These exams are performed at testing centers like PSI.

Many states will require that you obtain a background check, which may also be offered through the testing center. After you pass the tests, get your background check done and pay all the associated fees, you’re now able to work as a real estate agent.
